Network Administrator
Position Description:
The Network Administrator will have the responsibility for ensuring the availability of our internet applications and our corporate website. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years experience in application development and support using Visual Studio, NT/IIS, change and problem management in an internet environment, including use of version control and systems management tools. Java programming experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with internet applications
- Flexibility to be on call for emergencies and scheduled maintenance 24x7
- Experience with MS Cluster technology and Exchange Server (Exchange 2000/2003 version)
- MS DNS, SMTP, POP, FTP servers
- Admin Windows Active Directory
- MS IIS, SSL Certified (MS Certification server, a plus)
- VPN peer to peer client support
- CISCO Switch and PIX Firewall
- Weblogic, Jboss, Tomcat
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a can-do attitude
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Application deployment
- Server build and configuration
- VPN, FTP, and Connectivity support
- Exchange email support
- System monitoring and respond
