Inside Sales Associate

Position Description:

As an Inside Sales Associate, you will partner with our sales team to provide them with high quality, verified leads in identified target markets. You will be responsible for maintaining an aggressive calling campaign to continuously generate and qualify high volume leads. Daily activities will include calling on medium to large size companies to introduce them to our revolutionary payment solutions and setting appointments for further dialogue. You will initially be responsible for passing the qualified opportunities along to our sales team; however, we fully expect that with the right attitude, skills and finesse, you will eventually own the sales cycle!

Responsibilities:

  • Daily execution of outbound calling designed to drive new customer acquisition
  • Field and/or originate sales calls to qualify and capture prospective customer data using various communication approaches
  • Identify, develop, maintain and respond to incoming leads, solicit referrals from prospective customers
  • Work closely with the outside sales group to develop opportunities and document in Salesforce.com
  • Maintain close relationships with internal and external clients to advance and accelerate the sales process
  • Periodically represent Ecount at outside events/trade shows to generate leads and promote the company's products and services
  • Assist in the preparation of customer presentations and proposals
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Ecount's products and services
  • Adhere to Ecount's sales methodology and sales process
  • Keep current with competitor activities and industry changes that affect product sales information.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a passion for cold calling potential clients and business development, as well as a creative approach and enthusiasm for the job. S/he will also be poised and professional on the telephone and comfortably establish telephone rapport, as well as be able to successfully identify opportunities for up selling and cross selling. In addition the successful candidate will possess:

  • 2+ years experience performing lead generation and inside sales activities (preferred)
  • Proven experience identifying, developing, and managing prospective customer relationships
  • Proven experience at penetrating markets rapidly as well as gaining market share in very competitive arenas
  • Knowledge and competence in the major elements of inside sales, including cold calling, business development, customer qualification, and customer acquisition
  • A high-energy personality with excellent attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to support multiple simultaneous projects and program elements in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely outward focused, with strong communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in building clear, effective PowerPoint presentations and utilization.
