Senior Business Analyst
Position Description:
The Product Development team is responsible for the overall coordination of all aspects of product development, including analyzing business needs, prioritizing products and features, creating functional specs; managing project schedules and budgets; developing process improvements, and driving key product decisions with senior management.
The Business Analyst will interact with all divisions of the company to:
- Capture needs for new features, functionality and processes
- Perform financial analysis to drive product decisions
- Manage projects through implementation by working closely with IT and business owners
- Write detailed marketing requirements by analyzing end user needs and understanding core technology
- Champion the prioritization of features
- This position requires a strong understanding of marketing requirements definition and a solid understanding of good product development processes.
Candidates should be strategic thinkers and possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with 2-3 years experience as a Senior Business Analyst with strong project management skills and an entrepreneurial self-motivated attitude. Must have experience writing functional specifications, gathering requirements, and understanding data and business models. The ideal match will have 1-2 years direct Internet experience in a product management role and will have successfully brought to market at least one Internet-based product. Experience in the financial services area is a plus.
