The D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board offering fuel card promotion

WASHINGTON, DC - Gas prices are soaring. Gone are the days when you could buy regular, special, or supreme gas for $2 or less.

To help ease the high prices at the pump, the D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board (DCLB) is holding a Second Chance Gas Card Promotion in which D.C. Lottery players have the chance to win Ecount Fuel Cards for $100 each. The cards are valid at any station that accepts Visa.

From August 1 through September 8, 2006, players can enter the contest by submitting non-winning tickets for any of DCLB $5 instant scratch ticket games, including: Crown Jewels; Magic Wheel; In the Money; Easy Wild 8's, and Strike It Rich. Each eligible entry must contain the player's name, address, daytime and evening telephone numbers, and signature handwritten legibly.

Instant scratch tickets can be purchased at licensed D.C. Lottery agent locations throughout the District
