Ecount - Best Places to Work

Ecount Named to Philadelphia Business Journal's Best Places to Work Program

Best Places to WorkPHILADELPHIA, September 21, 2006 - Philadelphia Business Journal has named Ecount (www.ecount.com) one of its Best Places to Work in the Philadelphia region. The award recognizes the company's achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of benefits, working conditions and company culture.

Conshohocken-based Ecount was one of hundreds to enter, securing its position on this prestigious list based on the strength of its benefits and programs

"At Ecount, we foster a culture of innovation. By developing a work environment where every employee is empowered to make an impact on our business, we have been able to develop a dynamic environment where our employees thrive," said Matt Gillin, CEO of Ecount. "We recognize that our success comes from our employees and are excited to receive this award."

"We entered the award program," said Kasey Crouthamel, Recruiting Manager of Ecount, "because we think that our culture is unique in creating a positive work environment, rewarding and recognizing achievement and challenging our team. Ecount is very proud of its employees, and we're proud to win this award."

The awards program was launched in July by the Philadelphia Business Journal through direct mailings, email and fax announcements, phone calls and advertisements in the paper. The 2006 program is sponsored by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Grant Thornton, Littler Mendelson, Monster, Unum Provident and SB 1 Federal Credit Union.

"The best places to work are companies that recognize employees as their best asset, instrumental in maintaining the quality and reputation for services and products," said Bernard Dagenais, Philadelphia Business Journal editor. "The right work environment can create a powerful business advantage."

The Philadelphia Business Journal's research partner, Wichita, Kansas-based Quantum Market Research, tabulated the results of thousands of online surveys completed by employees to establish the rank order. Common themes among top companies focused on work-life balance; respect and caring for employees; recognition of accomplishments; feeling empowered; good teamwork and commitment to community.

"We work at being open and innovative," continued Crouthamel, "and we're proud to be recognized for our efforts."
