Baruch Katz Named CIO of Ecount

Conshohocken, PA, March 23, 2006 - Ecount (www.ecount.com), the prepaid experts, today announced the appointment of Baruch Katz to chief information officer. As CIO, Mr. Katz will focus on technology strategy and oversee the further development of Ecount's award-winning electronic payments platform. Mr. Katz will be responsible for setting IT strategies, managing Ecount's technology initiatives and activities, including IT Architecture, Development, Operations, Security and Quality Assurance.

Prior to joining Ecount, Mr. Katz co-founded and served as CTO of Adapt Media, where he was responsible for developing their innovative wireless media platform. Prior to Adapt Media, he served as a senior technology management executive with major companies such as Intel Corp., Deloitte Touche, and Lehman Brothers with primary responsibilities for system integration, financial back and front office systems, and web services. Baruch holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Computer Science from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology and an MBA from Stern School of Business at NYU.
